What happens if my application is not accepted?

Summary

  • There is no guarantee of placement, the decision lies with the partner project.
  • Rejection is unlikely if all requirements are met.
  • The project may be fully booked at the time requested.
  • COACH ABROAD will make suggestions for alternative projects or periods.
  • Personal wishes and goals should be clarified in advance in the online interview.

Firstly, we cannot guarantee you a placement, the final decision lies with the partner project itself and not with COACH ABROAD.

However, if you meet all the requirements of COACH ABROAD and the project you are applying for, it is relatively unlikely that your application will be rejected. However, it may be that a project has already been filled at the time you have requested. If this is the case, we will suggest alternatives from our project database or discuss the possibility of an alternative period with you.

If unforeseen circumstances lead to a cancellation, we will work with you to explore other options and help you find a social sports project that matches your skills and interests. In this case as well, it is important for you to think about your personal wishes and goals that you would like to pursue with your voluntary service abroad in advance. We will discuss this in our online interview. The better we know you personally, the better we can offer you alternatives in the unlikely event of a rejection.
